What this means for you who receive checks as a payment is that we can not guarantee when you will receive the check. If there is another payment method you would like to use like paypal, payoneer or moneybookers, we advise that you do so.

We are now accepting uploads for Editorial Use Only. You'll see a check box during the upload… apri

We are now accepting uploads for Editorial Use Only. You'll see a check box during the upload process now - tick it and that will send you in the Editorial direction.



We will be bringing Inspections online over the next little while. The queue will move slowly at first and then speed up as we get the wheels going.



Editorial Use Only files will not be available for download or seen in searches yet. We are going to gather the files for a few weeks and then closer to the end of the month we will flip the switch to make them searchable and downloadable.



Franky has been working on this with us and is releasing a new version of Deep Meta with all the Editorial stuff you need.



As part of this, we're at long last releasing a completely updated Photographer's Training Manual (woo!). A lot of people have put a lot of work into this - so cheers to Sirimo, Gremlin, emyerson, Efenzi, and benoitb.

On Tuesday, January 18th uploads & inspections will be disabled for approximately 24 hours starting at 11 am MST. We are upgrading some hardware and in order for the update to be successful, we need to turn these off. We are hoping the downtime will be less than anticipated, however we’re providing you the worst case scenario of 48 hours just in case. We appreciate your patience and understanding and we’ll have these available again as quickly as possible. chiudi

First, I’d like to thank everyone for bearing with us while we made the shift to F5. It went almost flawlessly, which is a testament to the strength of iStockphoto. We’ve seen excellent growth in sales and traffic since the launch. We also have many more features to roll out now that the underpinnings are there. I’ve been in the meetings watching them evolve. They're exciting and will make everyone's lives much easier. The team is excited to get them into your hands.



Building upon the success of F5, this post is about other changes to position iStock for continued long-term success. iStock is making changes to contributor structure & compensation and our collections with the goal of expanding our industry leadership in fresh, creative, quality, exclusive content.
